(More customer reviews)I bought this for center pieces for my daughter's birthday party and I added in movie snack/ treats. The bowls are absolutely adorable. Only thing I wish is that it was a little bit bigger but it is an individual size so I did expect it to be small to medium in size. The bowls are nice and durable. A nice hefty weight to it, not cheaply made. Plus, it was delivered less then a week to my home, which is a good thing because I live in Hawaii. These are a great inexpensive way to make into gift sets.

(More customer reviews)My wife gave me this machine for Christmas, although she made me do all of the research on the internet. THIS IS A GREAT MACHINE!! It is very well made, its easy to assemble and a snap to use and clean. I highly recommend this machine to anyone who likes theater style popcorn and likes to impress their kids or grandkids. I am now a hero to all of my grandkids and even a few friends that come over to watch movies every now and then. You can't go wrong with this machine(It also looks cool sitting in my den next to the TV)!
It might be nice to have heating coils instead of just a heat lamp to keep the popped corn hot, but if this is important to you, get the six ounce model for only a few dollars more. Usually, we eat it so fast that it doesn't matter.
My four ounce model pops enough corn for four people with each popping and you can pop another kettle full imediately if you need more. The six year warrenty is great, but this machine is so well made that I don't believe that I will need it.

Nostalgia RHP-310 Mini Retro Popcorn Maker Review

(More customer reviews)This popper looks great but is poorly designed. Upside was it was less than $20. The biggest problem is that over the few minutes of popping time, about 1/3 of the kernels are ejected.
I've tried:
- Stale and fresh popcorn(not by design, I just had some stale corn...:))
- Different brands of popcorn
- Preheating the popper for ~5 minutes
- smaller and larger than recommended batches.
None of these things seem to have made a difference.
For kicks I 're-popped' the the ejected kernels from a recommended sized batch and got 2 more cups of popped corn out of it.
I bet a deeper or larger diameter well would fix this problem but oh well.
This popper is very lightweight, which doesn't inspire longevity.

(More customer reviews)I'm making chocolate caramel apples and thought I'd give this a try since it was so inexpensive. This works great with the caramel. It's the perfect size for the larger apples I use and keeps the caramel warm for awhile. I've had no problems with burning it or anything. I'm sure if you microwave it too long without stirring in between, you could, but it's working great for me! I haven't tried it with chocolates yet.
