It's a nice product, my wife liked it, but the price is a bit high for what you get (maybe it was the timing of my purchase, during the holiday season). The popcorn is good, the powdered salt/flavorings are ok, but not really worth the extra money over a simple bag of store-brand popcorn from the grocery store, some butter and salt. In fact, some of the kernal types pop very small. The bowl is nice, very heavy and holds enough for 2.

It snaps in place, but the lips that hold it are not big enough. The "old maids" fall through the holes just fine.

(More customer reviews)This is a really great concept with the "old maid" catcher in the bottom; however we've discovered that the ink runs from oil, butter and even hot water, often staining other dishes, dishcloths, etc. It would be great to sell a version without the ink on it...because other than that factor, this is a great way to enjoy popcorn.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for center pieces for my daughter's birthday party and I added in movie snack/ treats. The bowls are absolutely adorable. Only thing I wish is that it was a little bit bigger but it is an individual size so I did expect it to be small to medium in size. The bowls are nice and durable. A nice hefty weight to it, not cheaply made. Plus, it was delivered less then a week to my home, which is a good thing because I live in Hawaii. These are a great inexpensive way to make into gift sets.

(More customer reviews)It is a neat product idea, only it is too huge. A microwave bag of popcorn barely fills half of the container. If you have a big family, or are sharing with a lot of people, it is fine. But, it is unwieldy for my son to sit on the couch with and handle easily.

I used the container to hold a DVD, a package of popcorn, and 2 packs of hot chocolate. I wrapped it all up with cellophane and a bow. It was beautiful! And they can use the container for their popcorn. I was very happy with the product for the price.

The kids had fun and liked the whole theater atmosphere with the cups, popcorn machine, and projector, etc. I highly recommend a simple home theater. We have so much fun with the movies, video games and internet projected to a 9'x16' image. These cups just add to the ambience of the evenings. And BONUS! They do not have to be washed, lol. Munch and toss. :)

But the red coloring isn't colorsafe. After one use, you find your hands stained with a pinkish red wherever you touch it. Ended up being a waste.

(More customer reviews)Sitting on the counter, these look like regular cardboard popcorn tubs, but they are actually reuseable, washable plastic, which I think is much more economical than the throwaways. Unfortunately, my kids cracked even before I got to use it the first time. It is still useable though, even with the cracks. So they are decently sturdy, though are capable of cracking. Look great though!

The size stated on the product description is accurate, as they will hold about 2 cups of popped popcorn. So you can probably consider this to be a small size popcorn that you would get when out at the movies. That might be a little on the small size for some folks, but this worked perfectly for the gift box we were making. The price might be a bit high for a 6-pack, but these would be good if you are having a themed party or doing a gift box. Have fun!
