(More customer reviews)I ordered a case of these since it seems the Orville Redenbacher's popcorn cakes are discontinued or at least in declining production. These cakes have the same look, texture and taste almost the same as a regular rice (not popcorn)cake. Products like this are dime a dozen and had I known they were almost the same thing as everyone else's rice cakes, I would not have ordered this. What to do when your favorite product cannot be found and seems to not be duplicated by anyone else? Such a simple, delicious idea, don't know why other companies don't make them.

No trans fats. Helps improve cholesterol. Non-Hydrogenated. It's high time for my new popcorn. I believe that if microwave popcorn is made with partially hydrogenated oil, it cannot be healthy. The hydrogenation process creates trans fatty acids that can raise bad cholesterol and lower good cholesterol (just the opposite of what you want). Hydrogenation is a process to harden liquid vegetable oil but forms damaging trans fatty acids. Bad news., folks. The oil blend we use to make our popcorn has been patented to help improve the cholesterol ratio. It contains the right balance of trans-free vegetable oils. I believe in it and you can too! Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil, 29-Ounce Jars (Pack of 2) Review

(More customer reviews)My bf and I both have subscriptions for this coconut oil. It's a great way to get it for an AMAZING price. I used to order the larger size and I was disappointed when it was unavailable for a while and I had to order the two pack in this smaller size (although really 29 ounces is not that small) but in the end I like it much better. With two smaller ones we can each have one if we end up running out around the same time otherwise, half of the coconut oil stays fresh and unopened. Oh, and if you want to put some on right after a shower, the smaller jar is more likely to actually fit in your shower.
We tried other coconut oils and they were...well...gross. Really rancid tasting. We use this in deep dish pizza crust and the one time we used another brand we basically ruined two giant 14 inch pizza pies. We also use it for flour tortillas, pie crust, refried beans, smoothies, coffee cake, um, all kinds of things. I am planning to try using it instead of butter in a croissant recipe, although I expect it will be quite tricky since it melts at a slightly lower temperature than butter, and gets harder when it hardens. Put it in the fridge and it is hard as a rock.
Anyway, we now use this stuff about as much as we use olive oil, and we've found it actually showing up in recipes in some newer cookbooks now, too, rather than us just trying to substitute and seeing how it works out. It does have a strong coconut smell and flavor, which enhances some recipes in a FABULOUS way, but may be detrimental in others.

Popchips Potato Chips Review

(More customer reviews)One of my biggest frustrations with doing Weight Watchers was always the problem of finding good chips. I will eat the baked ones, but they are undeniably very different from regular fried chips. In addition to this, I've never been able to find a baked chip that came in salt and vinegar flavor, which is my favorite type of chip. This meant that, whenever I had the craving for this particular flavor, I'd have to eat the regular fried kind.
I picked up an oversize bag of the barbecue flavor Pop Chips on a whim at Costco. I'd heard about them and was curious about what they're like, but I'd never before been able to find them in the area. Much to my surprise, my very thin husband who is totally addicted to barbecue chips loved them and pretty much ate the whole bag before I'd had any. I had tasted a couple of them and thought the barbecue flavor was good, so I decided to go ahead and order the individual bags from Amazon in barbecue for him and sea salt and vinegar for me.
They are definitely worth the money. I want to emphasize, however, that you will not be fooled into believing these are the regular old fried chips. The taste and texture is something like a cross between rice cakes and chips. I say rice cakes because they have something of that puffed look that rice cakes do. Still, they are very good and the salt and vinegar is nice and strong, which is just the way I like them.
As for the portion size, it's pretty generous. For my fellow Weight Watchers, they are 2 points per bag, and they definitely make for a satisfying, filling snack or a side for your sandwich.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is sick of the limited flavors of baked chips and would like something that comes in a wider variety of more exotic flavors. I'm planning on trying the parmesan and garlic next.

A friend turned me on to the benefits of coconut oil so I tried it out. I use it in stir-fry, curry and fried rice. It gives the food a very light coconut flavor. In my opinion, it is most suited to baking. I substitute coconut oil whenever the recipe calls for butter, vegetable oil (microwave the coconut oil to liquefy) or shortening. I've used it to bake cookies, muffins, bread, sweet dinner rolls, etc. Everything comes out moist and delicious, with no worry about trans fats. I definitely recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)I tried these on a whim after hearing about Veggie Booty for a long time. I knew I wasn't ready for VB, but I could certainly try out a new kind of cheese puff. I previously thought that a day without Cheetos was a day wasted, so this was a big change.
These are the best things ever! They taste like real cheese and there's some variation in the intensity of the flavor - every single one doesn't taste exactly the same. They aren't as crunchy as Cheetos and don't turn your fingers orange!
After trying a couple bags purchased at the grocery store, I decided I loved them enough to invest in this 12-pack from Amazon. Okay, so maybe I went a little wild and had a bag (or two) a day until they were gone - don't judge me!
Try these out! Buy a bag at the grocery store and then get the 12-pack. You'll be very happy that you did!

(More customer reviews)Say that 10 times fast! It's true though. They really put just enough kernels in the bag to satisfy you without feeling like you should have made 2! I love the Kettle Korn flavor too! If you've never tried it, you don't know what you're missing. It can be very addictive so maybe you better not try. Neah! Go right ahead! It's popcorn - a great healthy snacking alternative to chips, candy, and other junk food.
Tip: It says not to use the popcorn button on your microwave which is good advice but if you check that booklet thingy that came with yours (if you can remember which drawer it's buried in) you might find that your popcorn button has multiple size settings like my Samsung model does. All it takes for me is to press the popcorn button 3 times to select "Snack size" and it comes out perfect every time - none burnt or scorched and only a few kernels unpopped.

Texture and consistency is a cross between rice cake, popcorn, and styrofoam packing peanuts, but good flavor and an all around nice snack and good alternative to chips or other high fat / high calorie type snacks. I read the reviews and were impressed by them but, the possibility of being stuck with 24 bags of chips I hated made me nervous. This was my first food order from amazon and I am glad I picked this product to be. I absolutely love these chips. I deiced on the variety pack to start with in case I didn't like one flavor had others I could eat. Turns out though I enjoy them all.
They are thicker than your normal potato chip with a great crunch and more of an airy texture. One bag fills me up as a mid-day snack. The flavors themselves are a bit bolder than you would expect from a chip. For me this was a good thing. I would have to say the bbq is my favorite. The flavor reminded me a lot of lays bqq but a bolder version of it, the sweet bqq flavor with a bold kick at the end. My bags had very few broken chips in them. Everything about this order was great.
My father was around when I was trying my first bag, making fun of them cause they were healthy. I offered him one and he accepted probably to do some dramatic spitting it out and eww effect. He looked at me confused once he ate it, promptly took the bag out of my hand and walked away with it. This is a man who HATES anything healthy, but shows how good the flavors are.
I will definitely be buying these again.
