Contacted the seller and received unclear answers. Ordered two of each four different seasonings because of high shipping cost. I find this seasoning too sweety so you might want to watch it out if you have weight issues. The taste is both equally mix of apple and cinnamon.

(More customer reviews)Okay, so I know what you are thinking. If it is good popcorn, why the 3 stars? Because, this is not the Chicago Style popcorn I've come to know and love. Chicago style is a blend of cheese and caramel flavors. The popcorn that I've had before married these flavors into one blend so that each kernal had a coating of both flavors mixed together. This popcorn was a bag of cheese popcorn mixed with caramel popcorn. Two different popcorns mixed together in one bag instead of one kind of popcorn with a blended flavor base.
Having said that, this popcorn was good for what it was and fresh too!! Just the freshness was a treat as so many canned/bagged popcorn one could buy is stale. So, on that front I was satisfied. I just wish I could find the same popcorn I love again. The guy who sold it here moved shop and I can't find him! So, thanks Cornzapoppin for giving this a whirl, but I gotta keep looking!

(More customer reviews)You have no idea. I've researched cheese powders for 7 years (all provoked when the original Kraft Grated Cheddar was pulled from production and rocked my world). This newer version is not QUITE as pure as their grated cheddar was (that was a gold can, and it was borderline-illegally heaven), but this one is close. It's certainly better than any of the myriads of powders that "claim" to be cheese (which are predominantly fillers, sodium, food coloring, anti-caking agents and preservatives...and taste like it). If you're looking for the best tasting cheese powder out there, this is it. It's great on popcorn!

(More customer reviews)I bought a rather over-the-top large quantity of flavored popcorn for my mom for Christmas 2009 after she mentioned how much she missed getting those huge tins of popcorn for gifts in recent years.
Anyway, this flavor was tasty, but we prefer the White Cheddar flavor. This flavor didn't have quite as much of a cheesy kick as the white.
Also, if you order this for a gift, you want to buy some extra large Ziploc bags to double bag the popcorn. Otherwise, the delicious scent will give away your secrets!
Mom really enjoyed her present.

Dean Jacobs 4 Popcorn Cheeses, Regular, 2.6 -Ounce Jars (Pack of 4) Review

(More customer reviews)I first came across a bottle of this popcorn seasoning in a discount dress shop; while my wife was shopping I wandered into the `home and kitchen' area and found this bottle of popcorn seasonings by Dean Jacobs. A few weeks later, after making a batch of popcorn, I sprinkled on some of the Bacon & Cheese. I was immediately hooked.
I found another jar at another store, but then ran out of luck until I found it here on Amazon. Since the description Amazon gives is very poor, here is what you are getting: four containers of Dean Jacobs popcorn seasoning. Each container contains four different seasonings: Cheddar Blend (the only part you can see in the photograph above); Bacon & Cheddar; Sour Cream & Onion; and Zesty Nacho. The round container is divided into four separate sections, and each section has a flip top so you may sprinkle the seasoning of your choice. Each section contains .63 ounces or 18 grams (the bottle I found in the store was twice as big). Again, you get four (4) bottles, and each bottle has the same four (4) popcorn seasonings.
Each seasoning is simply delicious. I do not know why Dean Jacobs does not sell this product in more places. They also have (not available on Amazon, so far as I can find) another bottle of popcorn seasoning, again with four different flavors including Salt Butter, Toffee and a great Jalapeno Cheese (I do not have the bottle in front of me and can't recall the fourth flavor). My wife likes to sprinkle the Toffee on her cream of wheat. Hopefully, this second bottle will be available in the near future.
If you like popcorn, I highly recommend this Dean Jacobs product. Toss away those bland flavors you find at the supermarket.
