(More customer reviews)This is the BEST popcorn. I love the flavor of the pour-over butter and the fact that I can control how much is put on. No more melting butter on the stove too. I usually have enough butter in the packet for two bags of popcorn, so buy a regular box to go with it.

(More customer reviews)I bought this in the 6 ounce when Amazon offered it for my 6 ounce machine. Anyway this comes with the popcorn, oil and the salt flavoring which includes Flavacol (that secret movie theater ingredient). I also bought extra butter topping and salt but that was a waste of money because this popcorn kit is all you need. Any more salt is too much and the butter is perfect. After I made it no one wanted anything extra on theirs and said it was perfect. Also follow the directions on the popcorn package and not your machine to get the most kernels popped. I know my 6 ounce in this popcorn made 7 small square boxes of popcorn so this makes more than that but keep in mind this popcorn tastes awesome cold too. Keep it in a cool area so the oil side does not melt (easier to handle not messy). It seems the first 1/3 that pops is the most buttery so after it all pops stir it up in your machine to even that out. You will love this product if you want that perfect movie theater popcorn that is yellow, buttery, salty and flavorful. No need to buy anything else. I did a lot of searching on the internet to find "that" taste and now that I found it I wanted to share it with you to save you time and worry if you are getting the right thing. So enjoy.

(More customer reviews)I first came across a bottle of this popcorn seasoning in a discount dress shop; while my wife was shopping I wandered into the `home and kitchen' area and found this bottle of popcorn seasonings by Dean Jacobs. A few weeks later, after making a batch of popcorn, I sprinkled on some of the Bacon & Cheese. I was immediately hooked.
I found another jar at another store, but then ran out of luck until I found it here on Amazon. Since the description Amazon gives is very poor, here is what you are getting: four containers of Dean Jacobs popcorn seasoning. Each container contains four different seasonings: Cheddar Blend (the only part you can see in the photograph above); Bacon & Cheddar; Sour Cream & Onion; and Zesty Nacho. The round container is divided into four separate sections, and each section has a flip top so you may sprinkle the seasoning of your choice. Each section contains .63 ounces or 18 grams (the bottle I found in the store was twice as big). Again, you get four (4) bottles, and each bottle has the same four (4) popcorn seasonings.
Each seasoning is simply delicious. I do not know why Dean Jacobs does not sell this product in more places. They also have (not available on Amazon, so far as I can find) another bottle of popcorn seasoning, again with four different flavors including Salt Butter, Toffee and a great Jalapeno Cheese (I do not have the bottle in front of me and can't recall the fourth flavor). My wife likes to sprinkle the Toffee on her cream of wheat. Hopefully, this second bottle will be available in the near future.
If you like popcorn, I highly recommend this Dean Jacobs product. Toss away those bland flavors you find at the supermarket.

It came with measuring cups for the oil and popcorn so it was easy for her to use correctly. It worked great from the first time, even over flowing the kettle just like at the theater. The day after Christmas she had fun popping popcorn for most of the neighborhood.
