I have been using Magic Seasoning Blend for years on a variety of foods and have not gotten tired of it.

(More customer reviews)If you have one of the carnival or theatre kettle style popcorn poppers you are gonna love it. You will swear you eating your favorite "movie theatre" popcorn.
If you are like me and you've always loved popcorn, but never really had a easy way to cook it and have it taste like real movie theatre popcorn, then this is for you.
As a kid we had all different type of poppers; an old aluminum pot that sat on a electric burner, one of Mom's older pots with a non-stick surface, the plastic cone looking things to use with a microwave.... still none of them gave us the taste and smell of movie theatre popcorn.
I finally broke down and bought a kettle style popper. Most importantly I found the "Mega-Pop" popcorn packages. Each package container just the right amount of corn, cooking oil and popcorn salt to make the best tasting popcorn you've ever eaten !
Now you say, "I can't afford a kettle style popper", no problem. If it is just me here, I snip the top of each container and pour about half of each item into a pot with a non-stick surface, cover the pop and shake the pot 'til it is done popping. Put the corn in a bowl, bag or basket and sprinkle with popcorn salt.... goes great watching a movie, college football game - whatever.

Boy am I glad I waited on ordering this stuff, it is not all that great. It tastes more like salt than cheddar. There is no white cheddar taste or aroma to it whatsoever... I was severely under whelmed.

This Popcorn has superior "crunch" and flavor compared to ANY popcorn I have EVER eaten.
I do consider myself a "Self-Proclaimed" POPCORN ADDICT!!!! I could live on this food only the rest of my life!!!

(More customer reviews)I bought this because Great Northern popcorn was out for quite awhile(my usual brand). The price seemed fair so I gave this a try. Initially I was disappointed because when I opened the box the packets didn't have 3 separate chambers like the picture shows, it just had 2...the oil on one and popcorn and salt were combined in the other. I like the separate salt so I can control the amount more precisely. I made a batch and this is what I noticed! The popcorn was a little smaller than what I usually get but the yield was allot better. More of the kernels popped! Any lastly it tasted very good. By the end of the case I should know whether this will be the preferred brand.

I bought the 12 bottle variety to try out. I just recently started using a hot air popper so wanted to see what varieties worked well.
First off. The baby white and baby yellow kernels are just too light for use in a hot air popper. We did pop them at work using a traditional popper and they were fine.
The are two varieties that stood out as my favorites for my hot air popper. The first is the Wisconsin White Birch, which popped up big, fluffy and close to zero unpopped or blow out kernels. The second is Savannah Gold, it popped up big, nice volume and again almost zero unpopped or blow out kernels.
Two varieties that are close seconds as favorites are: Autumn Blaze Blend (small, crisp, no unpopped kernels but quite a few blow outs) and High Mountain Midnight (some no pops, good volume).
There was only one variety that I would not ever use again. The Black Hills had about 4 times the quantity of unpopped kernels as any of the other types, the kernels popped up very small, it was extremely hully and some kernels burnt in the hot air popper.
Orchard Blossom, Red River Valley and Harvest Blend types all popped fine in my hot air popper with only a few unpopped kernels. The Blue Heron also popped fine with a few more unpopped kernels than the three mentioned in the sentence before; it was also earthy in taste and popped up small kernels. Savannah Fire had very few close to no pops and was very chewy without being hully.

(More customer reviews)The shipping cost is excessive but even if it were free shipping this popcorn does not work well in either my oil-free microwave popper nor in my air popper...In either case it leaves far too many unpopped grains and under popped grains. Those that do pop are not tender like most other white popcorn I've used....I wouldn't use this popcorn even if it were a gift.

(More customer reviews)For around thirty bucks I was greeted at the door with a box so full of popcorn kernels, butter salt, and coconut oil that I could barely lift it. The delivery guy sure was confused when I told him "just popcorn stuff" was inside it. Needless to say, the bang-for-buck value of this purchase is not in doubt.
Opening it, I was happy to find literally dozens of individual plastic packets of the kernels, oil, and salt, each packet of which containing one serving of each item. The instructions may tell you do dump one entire full packet into your popcorn popper, but that's only if you have HUGE industrial strength machine. I cut servings into thirds.
While I'm overjoyed at how much pure product you get, the packets themselves are a bit of a hassle. All the butter salt is stored together within the kernel section of the packet, and it's all mashed at the bottom, almost impossible to get out-- though it's absolutely delicious if you finally manage to. The coconut oil is stored on the other side of the packet, and it pours out easily and conveniently, though I wish it had a seal for easy (and less messy!) storage. Regardless, coconut oil (and this one in particular) absolutely MAKE your popcorn "movie theater grade" popcorn. It's an exact duplicate. The smell alone will transport your senses to your local cineplex.
All in all, a very worthy purchase for popcorn fans, movie buffs, and salty treat enthusiasts of all ages, the world over. Quite recommended.
