(More customer reviews)Pop Secret Homestyle used to be my favorite brand of popcorn. It had the perfect blend of salt and butter...when it was made with real Land o' Lakes butter. The last two cases I ordered did NOT have real butter in them. They were both of the Homestyle flavor, but neither had the "Made with real Land o' Lakes butter" graphic on the boxes. The boxes in this last case of popcorn I ordered was merely labelled "a taste of butter", and was listed in the ingredients as "artificial and natural flavoring". I've written to the company asking why they took out the real butter, but they have yet to respond. I don't know why they'd change the recipe when it was so good before. I hope they change it back. In the Amazon pages for both the 8-6 packs and the 12-3 pack boxes, the picture shows the box with the real butter graphic on them, but that's not what I ended up with.

(More customer reviews)Remember how we made popcorn years ago? You'd pour a little vegetable oil in a pan, heat it up, and add just enough kernels to cover the bottom. Put on the lid and shake periodically. THIS POPCORN TASTES LIKE THAT! It is not a "buttery" flavor. I usually add a little extra salt. The 100 calorie format makes it perfect for a snack.

(More customer reviews)If you are looking for a product that has a very buttery taste then this popcorn is not for you. If however, you are looking for a low cal treat with a light buttery taste, look no further. I prefer popsecret to other brands because their popcorn pops up larger and fluffier than the others and the snack size is the perfect portion for one person.
One thing I have noticed is that the 100 cal. snack size has less popcorn than the other snack sizes popsecret makes, so that is one of the reasons that it is lower calorie than the others.
