(More customer reviews)This is a mix of several varieties of popcorn so some pops white and some pops yellow. The kernel color stays the same as it was before it was popped, so at first I thought it had burned. I was wrong, it was just the purple and black kernels. The popcorn is slightly smaller after it pops than commercial brands, but there were very few unpopped kernels. The kernels do shatter into smaller pieces as stated, but they do still get stuck in your teeth, so don't buy it just to save your dental work. Overall it's very good and I'll likely get it again.
