(More customer reviews)I received this popcorn machine as a gift from my wife and I love it! It makes a great addition to any home theater room and movie night is even more fun.
Pros of the machine:
1. Somewhat easy to clean. I've never owned a popcorn machine before, but I have to say that cleaning isn't a nightmare. All of the parts come out relatively easy and everything wipes down great. The glass is a bit tricky to wipe, but all of the stainless steel washes clean with soap and water. It takes about 5-10 minutes to clean.
2. Hardly any unpopped kernals. The stirrer does a great job to keep all of the popcorn evenly heated and moving. When using a 6oz Megapop prepackaged popcorn and oil packet, about 10-15 kernals escape without being popped.
3. It looks great! The old-fashioned look is really nice and definitely attracts attention. It's made out of quality materials and is pretty heavy.
If you're looking for that authentic theater popcorn taste, I recommend purchasing the 36ct 6oz Megapop popcorn/oil packets. Everything is included in the package and the taste is unbelievable. You won't be able to get the same taste using regular oil and salt.
